We are in in love with our southern styled wedding shoot at Two Sisters Ranch in Dade City, Florida and thrilled to have been published on Aisle Society and Marry Me Tampa Bay.
This property is perfectly suited for any couple looking to have a wedding with a southern or farm feel to it. The house is a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and reception with its huge wrap around porch and rockers. For the ceremony space, we hung a dazzling crystal chandelier from a large oak tree and lined rows of white metal chairs with quintessential magnolia leaves. What could be more southern than magnolia leaves? We chose to set the reception space out on the lawnunder the oak trees dripping in Spanish moss and string lights. The hand made wooden farm tables add the perfect rustic touch when mixed with more modern black dishes and gold utensils. The color palette we chose for this shoot was blush and blue and was highlighted in the colored glass goblets, linens and custom designed stationary. We are big fans of monograms and seals which were used in both the invitation suite and menus. Loosely arranged floral centerpieces and bud vases adorned the table to add simple elegance in combination with the modern and rustic touches. It can be difficult mixing different styles together but we think we accomplished it beautifully in this setting.
