Sarah & Trevor
Moody Romance in December
Sarah wanted a moody romantic vibe that was elegant but slighly industrial. Trevor's wish list was an outside ceremony. Solution? White Rock Canyon in Dover, Florida.
Color Palette
The industrial nature of the venu with black trim and concrete floors contributed to our decision to use a lot of black in the design. Burgundy and blush work perfectly for the time of year and to add that romantic feminine touch. We chose gold as the accent color and to add a little sparkle.

For tablescapes, we used a combination of farm tables with exposed wood and rounds topped with black linens. We worked with Flower Child Florist on designing two different styles of floral arrangements for the guest tables. Having a variety of florals and tabletop decor makes the room more visually interesting.

Planner tip:
We repurposed the stunning asymnetrical altar florals as a backdrop for the sweetheart table.
A Pieee of Cake
We carried our moody color palette right through dessert. We contracted Rustic Bliss to design this semi-naked cake with gold leafing. Working with the pastry chef we helped the couple choose a variety of desserts that would coordinate with the theme like these red velvet dessert shooters. Providing guests dessert options is a popular trend.
The Party
After dinner it was time for the party. Sarah and Trevor's attendants went all out on preparing individual skits. We worked with the DJ on music selection and timing for a seamless performance.

We arranged 2 room blocks and 2 charter busses to and from the wedding for almost 150 guests. How did we do that? We partnered with nearby hotels to secure the rooms and add to the block as needed and teamed with US Coachways on logistics and itinerary.

"Karen was beyond amazing. I sent her my ideas and she went above and beyond my expectations. She was always extremely responsive to any /all of my concerns I had and always kept me informed of absolutey everything. I walked into my reception space before I walked down the aisle and cried. Everytthing was perfect! My dream wedding came to life because of her and I could never thank her enough. She knocked my rehearsal dinner ouf ot the park too. "
