Ally’s wedding vision was inspired by the romance of European cathedrals and the elegance of ethereal drapery. It was a dream design for us, blending timeless, Old World romance with the clean, elevated style of a modern bride.

The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown Tampa, one of the city’s oldest and most stunning architectural landmarks. With its soaring vaulted ceilings, intricate stained glass, and grand presence, it was the perfect setting for Ally and Jake’s vows.

Following the ceremony, guests traveled to another historic gem—Hotel Haya in Ybor City. Cocktail hour unfolded in Las Novedades, a space that feels distinctly European with its stained glass details, exposed brick walls, and warm, intimate ambiance.

The dinner reception was held in the Valencia Ballroom. Working closely with FH Event Designs, we collaborated on a drapery installation that transformed the blank-canvas ballroom into Ally’s ethereal dream. To complement the drapery, we selected a palette of white, taupe, and the palest blush florals, layered with an abundance of candles, stone table numbers, and crystal ribbed charger plates . Ghost chairs added to the airy, light feeling of the room.We were the first to execute this drapery design at the venue, but after its popularity on Instagram, it quickly inspired other couples to adapt it for their own events.

In a nod to Ally’s past as a Plant City Strawberry Festival Queen, the evening’s sweetest touch was a strawberry shortcake bar for dessert—a playful, personal, and delicious finale to a night filled with love, beauty, and meaning.
