RACHEL & DYLAN

Tampa, FL

Tampa Yacht and Country Club

Rachel and Dylan were married at the exclusive Tampa Yacht and Country Club, one of Tampa’s most iconic venues known for its rich history and deep-rooted family traditions.

While their original plan was to exchange vows outdoors in a traditional Jewish ceremony, Mother Nature had other ideas. A sudden change in weather brought us to Plan B — a beautiful indoor ceremony in the grand ballroom.

As it turned out, the change of plans brought two unexpected silver linings. First, their lush, floral-covered chuppah served double duty — it framed their ceremony beautifully, then was repurposed to house the wedding cake during the reception, becoming a stunning focal point in both settings. Second, the dramatic greenery ceiling installation, originally designed just for the dinner reception, became an enchanting addition for their ceremony as well.

Cocktail hour kicked off with a celebratory champagne tower while the ballroom was transformed for the reception. The color palette of the day was classic green and white, with three different green linens used throughout the event to add variety and texture — including velvet, sparkle, and shimmer finishes. After dinner, guests transitioned outside to the tent for dancing and dessert.

One of the most valuable roles we play as your planner is anticipating the unexpected and preparing for a seamless shift to a backup plan. Rachel and Dylan’s wedding is a perfect example of how thoughtful planning can turn a weather curveball into something even more magical.
