Treasure Island Beach Wedding

Kate and Brent hosted their wedding at the Sunset Beach House just a block from their own home. It was the perfect spot for their Easter weekend wedding celebrations. They welcomed guests from all over the country on Friday night with a casual pizza party and beach games.

For the wedding, Kate chose a color palette inspired by spring. We used tropical flowers in bright oranges and pinks with monstera and palm leaves to complement the natural beauty of the beach.

Although the vibe was casual, no detail was overlooked starting with the ceremony. We sourced this driftwood arch that framed the blue sky and water for the perfect ceremony backdrop. Cross back chairs were brought in for guest seating and dressed up with florals to line the aisle. Guests were provided cool coconut refreshments to sip on as they arrived and during the ceremony. The coconuts were customized for the couple and also served as escort cards.

After the ceremony, guests moved to the reception space under the cover of breezy palm trees and cafe lights. The bright colored florals popped off of the white tablecloths used on guest dining tables. To hightlight the wedding party, we brought in farm tables that worked well with the tropical theme. This outside beach wedding had all the elements of an indoor venue even a dance floor right on the sand. The breeze, the sunset and carefully chosen touch points made for an absolutely beautiful dining experience.

Dessert was no different. Guests had the option of custom designed goodies incuding rice crispy treat pops, chocolate covered oreos and strawberies, cake pops and a small wedding cake for the couple to cut. For the Easter Sunday brunch on the beach the following morning, we kept the dining tables and chairs, replaced the linens, and reused the florals. Kate and Brent had the Easter Bunny visit and the kids hunted for eggs. It was a beautiful destination wedding and Easter celebration weekend. You can read more about it at Marry Me Tampa Bay
